- The applicant is responsible for any bank fees incurred for insufficient funds.
- At the conclusion of the fair, artists are required to leave their booth space clean (including the surrounding area) and properly dispose of their trash in the provided containers.
- Acceptance of late applications is at the discretion of the HPAF Planning Committee.
WEATHER
This is a rain-or-shine event. Your booth must be open for the duration of the event. The fair will be held unless the event management (or municipal official) determines that there is a threat to safety.
Artists must bring their own tent and tent weights to secure their tent against inclement weather. Tent stakes are not enough as the ground in the park can be too soft to hold or too hard to stake in many areas. The Hazel Park Arts Council will not provide tables, tent weights, etc. and is not responsible for damage to tent, displays, artwork, or personal belongings.
BOOTH IMAGE REQUIREMENTS
- The purpose of the booth images is to ensure that you have a complete body of work, which is represented in the images submitted with your application and to give the planning committee an idea of your overall presentation at the fair.
- All images submitted with the application should represent the current body of work to be exhibited and sold at the HPAF.
- The booth display image should represent your current tent and display to be used for exhibition at the fair.
- We recommend visiting the ZAPP blog on booth images here for help taking booth images.
PETS
Animals are permitted at the Hazel Park Art Fair but must be under control at all times, with dogs on no more than a 6' leash, and you must clean up after your pet. We ask pet owners to please be considerate of other fair artists and guests.
