Applications are officially OPEN for two premier, high-traffic events at the brand-new INDOOR 17 Springs facility in Millbrook, AL!
We are seeking high-quality, unique handcrafted art and original work for:

• ARToberfest: Sept. 4–5, 2026

  Check-in: Friday, Sept. 4th, 2026, from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM.

  Show Dates: Saturday Sept. 5 - 9am to 5pm and Sunday Sept. 6 - 9am to 5pm

  Setup Completion: Set must be finished by 8:30 AM on Saturday, Sept. 5th, 2026

  Vendor Entrance: 2021 AL HWY-14, Millbrook, AL - 17 Springs Fieldhouse Loading Docks

Artwork must be original, handcrafted, and directly created and showcased by the approved individual artist. 
The artist whose work has been accepted is required to be present throughout the event to engage with patrons.

Westbrook Fine Arts has an ongoing jury process that meets weekly and juries by category. SHOW DIRECTOR’S SUGGESTION: We recommend that you apply EARLY, as the show and/or most categories will fill quickly. Upon receiving an invitation to participate in the show, you will need to submit a booth fee immediately to secure your space in the show. Simply ACCEPTING on Zapp will not secure your space in the show. Please note that your invitation email may go to your SPAM folder, so it is best to check your status on Zapp or check your SPAM folder. Due to the deadline being close to the show date, the show will most likely be closed before the deadline. PLEASE NOTE that we keep a WAIT LIST on a category basis.

Waitlist Policy:
- Invitations to participate are based on available space at the time the application is received
- We will invite artists off the waitlist, starting with #1 in the category where there is an opening
- We will contact you as early as possible if any spaces become available

Before applying, please make sure your work meets the following criteria. By applying, you agree to abide by the rules, policies, and decisions of the ARToberfest Festival Committee.

1. All work must be original, handcrafted work that complies with the media definitions listed in this prospectus. 
2. An accepted application is a commitment to show, and no refund will be made for cancellations. NO EXCEPTIONS.
3. Only the artists or crafters accompanying his or her original work may participate in the ARToberfest.
4. Artists and crafters must exhibit for the two (2) days of the festival.  Noncompliance will preclude you from being in future festivals. Artists and crafters are required to man their exhibits during festival hours.  
5. Commercially manufactured items (i.e., finished ceramics, jewelry, commercial molds, patterns, kits, etc. are NOT ACCEPTABLE.  All items must be handcrafted by the applicant.  Arts & Craft Exhibitors displaying commercial items will be asked to remove them. 
6. Exhibitors bear the responsibility for all setup and security needs for their exhibits.  NEITHER ARToberfest, Eugenia Westbrook Fine Art, 17 Springs, nor Millbrook Chamber of Commerce–Main Street–Tourism Bureau, nor its representatives, will be responsible for loss or damage of any kind.  
7. Artists may only show work in categories approved by the Jury. 
8. All work exhibited must be of the quality and type of that shown in the juried images. ARToberfest Festival Committee reserves the right to ask an artist to remove work that does not meet this requirement.
9. Artists and crafters must provide their own display booths, racks, tables, and chairs.  
10. NO space can be shared, but a single artist can purchase more than one 10’x10’booth space.  A “multi-person” team producing a single product may qualify as a single exhibitor.  
11. NO on-site gas-powered generators are allowed. NO amplified music permitted.  
12. This is a family-oriented festival for spectators of all ages, and the work exhibited must be in keeping with this atmosphere.  The festival reserves the right to remove work that it deems inappropriate. 
13. Sales tax of 7% (9% for food & beverage) must be collected and turned into the Chamber office by 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.  All checks must be made out to the Millbrook Chamber of Commerce. No Exceptions.
14. NONCOMPLIANCE WITH FESTIVAL STANDARDS & RULES MAY RESULT IN ELIMINATION FROM THIS YEAR’S AND FUTURE FESTIVALS WITHOUT REFUND OF ANY FEES. 
15. Vendors may only purchase up to three booths per business.
16. Food vendors who cook. All equipment must comply with the Alabama Department of Health. All extension cords are to be in good working condition. You must be able to operate under the standard 110 or 220 power and provide a standard 3-prong 75 ft (minimum) extension cord.
17. FOOD VENDORS - ONLY TWO PLUGS WILL BE ALLOWED. BRING POWER STRIPS FOR MORE....MUST BE APPROVED. The festival committee reserves the right to require vendors to rent a cord if the condition is deemed unacceptable.
18. ARToberfest, Eugenia Westbrook - Fine Art -and- 17 Springs are not responsibile for theft, loss or damage to your work or personal property, or against personal injury to you or your helpers.
19. You are advised to obtain your insurance.
20. The applicant agrees and releases ARToberfest - Eugenia Westbrook- Fine Art, and - 17 Springs from any damage or personal injury which he/she or helpers may sustain while participating in festival.
21. If accepted you agree to the use of your images by the Eugenia Westbrook - Fine Art, - 17 Springs and - ARToberfest for promotional purposes.
22. The applicant shall be responsible for the clean up of all areas used by the applicant. The removal of all food, drink, decorations, and other items brought to the facilities for the festival. And the removal or placement of all trash and debris in the appropriate recepticals.
23. Smoking or tobacco use of any kind (including vaping and chewing tobacco) is prohibited in all areas.
24. No firearms or weapons of any kind are permitted.
25. No overnight camping.
26. No individual music allowed. No animals (except service animals). Failure to comply with the rules will result in being asked to leave. 

Artist applications are reviewed and selected on an ongoing basis until the festival is officially full. Entries are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to jury approval. If the festival reaches maximum capacity, accepted applicants may be added to a waiting list and notified if a spot becomes available

Artists and crafters must confine themselves to the 10’x10’ space or must buy a second booth (Exhibits may not extend beyond 10’x10’).   No boxes or chairs are allowed in the pedestrian traffic area.

Vendor check-in and Set up begins on Friday, Sept. 4th,2026 at 1:00 PM.  The 17 Springs Sports Complex Event Center is located at - 2021 AL-14, Millbrook, AL 36054 from 1 to 5 p.m. Set up must be completed by 8:30 a.m. Saturday September 5th, 2026.

With an indoor venue, we eliminate any risk of bad weather elements negatively affecting festival attendance. So, plan on continued sales regardless of the weather. In the event of forces of nature, no refunds will be issued. 

No refund of the application fee or booth fee will be given once the exhibitor is accepted into the festival.
