Mosaics Ad Report 2025 Festival Ad Campaigns This year, we expanded the time frame of the ad campaign for Mosaics Fine Art Festival ad campaign began August 15. We began with a low budget to increase general awareness in February. We focused on having a broad reach and getting the festival information in front of as many people as possible. A few days before the event, we added a retargeting campaign to engage all those who had shown interest in ads, so that these people would be reminded of the festival in the days leading up to it. Traffic was directed to https://stcharlesmosaics.org/festival-info/. We used varied creative presentations, including single image, video, and carousel format. In both campaigns, Meta Ads Manager was allowed to automatically distribute the budget to the creative that was performing the best. Meta also determines combinations of text, creative, buttons, etc., each individual is most likely to respond to, based upon their ongoing online behavior. Highlighted Metrics Reach (unique people): 206,664 Cost per 1000 Impressions: $1.03 Analysis: ● Reach was excellent. Frequency remained low. This indicates efficient spending and effective targeting. ● Cost per click was 0.46 throughout the campaign, lower closer to the event, indicating good response. Less than $1 is considered excellent. ● Retargeting was highly effective, with a click through rate of 6.8% (over 1% is considered good). Placement and Demographics: Facebook was the most common placement by far, with Instagram being next and other platforms (Messenger, Threads, WhatsApp) barely registering. Age and Gender Distribution of Reach: The initial ads were engaged with more by men than women in each age group, with the 35-55 age group being the most engaged group for both genders. The retarget ads, however, were most engaged with by women. The ages had similar patterns to the other ad campaign, with ages 35-44 being the most engaged. In both campaigns, there was no significant difference between 45-54 year olds, 55-64 year olds, and 65+. 25-34 year olds engaged less, and thos under 24 had minimal engagement. Sample Presentations These were the two most popular (most engaged with) presentations of the ad. Thoughts for 2026 Ad Campaign: ● Lookalike lists: If your artists/vendors, etc. are willing to provide email addresses of their followers, customers, etc., we can upload that list into Ads Manager and create a lookalike audience that matches those people in online behavior. This has potential for targeting an unreached, highly-interested audience. ● “Branded” 3rd party ads: We could do a few short-run, low budget ads from posts that tag artists, vendors, restaurants on main street, or even the City of St. Charles. They do have to approve, but since it’s advertising that someone else is paying for, most will. ● Video: Short video clips of people enjoying or talking about the festival will boost results. Thank you for choosing 100th Monkey! We hope you had a wonderful event. It was a pleasure to work with you, and we look forward to working with you in the future.
