For over fifty years, Septemberfest has presented an exposition of high quality arts and crafts by national artists and craftspersons on the grounds of the Museum of the Southwest in Midland, Texas.
ELIGIBILITY
The event is open to individual artists and craftspersons presenting their own individual work. No galleries, studios, agents or anyone representing an artist will be eligible. No artist will be admitted whose work has not been reviewed and approved by the artist selection committee.
LOCATION
Midland is located midway between Dallas/Ft. Worth and El Paso along Interstate 20 in West Texas. Founded on ranching and the oil business, this highly educated, culturally diverse community boasts several museums, a civic center, symphony orchestra and a community theatre. Septemberfest is a well supported community event and over 4,000 people attended in 2025.
