Oktoberfest 2026 Retail Vendor Application

Oktoberfest is a festival that features brews, food, live music, local artisans, as well as activities like the fan-favorite dachshund races, stein-holding competitions, yard games and more. This event, while gated, is free admission to guests.  Oktoberfest takes place outdoors at the foot of the iconic SteelStacks at ArtsQuest campus on the first two weekends in October.  

Jury/Acceptance/Late Entries: The application will be closed following the May 3, 2026 application deadline.  The application will not be reopened unless additional applicants are needed for the event.

Retailer Medium Categories: Apparel | Accessories | Bath & Body | Food Products (must be pre-packaged and not consumable on-site) | Graphics & Illustration | Glass | Jewelry | Leather | Metal | Pottery | Textiles | Woodworking | Experiential | Home Goods | Plants | Gemstones | Other categories will be considered.

There is no wait list for this event - your status will be accepted or not accepted.  There is no wait list for applicants who do not apply by the application deadline.  In the event of a cancellation by an accepted Vendor, ArtsQuest will reach out to applicants within Zapplication from the application period for 2026.

Your product is the most important aspect of the application. To ensure you have the best possible advantage in the selection process, please be very thorough and complete with your product presentation. A fully completed application is also extremely important in finalizing the vendor selections. Applications that are not complete or have not uploaded the proper documentation will not be considered for selection.

The following are additional criteria that are used in evaluating vendors for selection:

1. Vendors with large event experience, particularly with outdoor events.
2. Vendors with a distinct direction on product line at a variety of price points, and clear, attractive branding.
3. Prior participation in an ArtsQuest event, with special attention to compliance of both ArtsQuest Terms of Participation and City of Bethlehem requirements.
4. The ability of a vendor's operations to fit into the available resources at ArtsQuest events (i.e. electrical and 10’ x 10’ space requirements). There is a slight advantage to operating with limited electrical needs and meeting 10’ x 10’ space requirements.
5. Vendors ability to provide their own equipment to operate (tables, chairs, tents and weights, lights, gridwall, etc).  ArtsQuest recommends 40lbs of weight per tent leg for all outdoor events.

Please provide appropriate supporting materials with your application. If the descriptions of your items are not familiar or clear, please provide as much information as possible. Please include links to websites where your product and event setup photos can be reviewed by the jury.

10' x 10' for both weekends - $650.00 

Additional booths sizes are available; cost will be dependent on size and will be calculated based on square footage, and availability is not guaranteed with a request.  Please complete the booth request portion of the application to indicate your booth size request.

1. A full return of refundable fees will be made by ArtsQuest ONLY IF written cancellation notice is received by ArtsQuest within fourteen (14) days of the date of the acceptance.
2. Cancellations greater than fourteen (14) days will not be refunded and failure to complete payment may impact application acceptance in the future.   
3. Deposits and Application Fees are non-refundable regardless of cancellation date.
