Opportunity Summary
Thank you for your interest in showcasing your art at Art on the Lake. This event is held to promote and support the amazing pieces of work artists in our community have created. We are excited to have yet another amazing art show on our event schedule and we are looking forward to seeing excellent artwork displayed around the show.
Art on the Lake will take place at Russell Crossroads, the heart of the Russell Lands community, Memorial Day weekend. The show will take place Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24 from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. It will be held in conjunction with RXR Fest -- Friday, May 22 and Saturday, May 23 from 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM. We are excited to promote these events together and encourage everyone to attend them both.

APPLICATION
All applications must be submitted through the ZAPPlication platform. Each artist must submit three appropriate images showcasing their work.

PAYMENT
Payment will be completed on ZAPPlication. Once an artists is approved, they will be notified of acceptance and can submit their payment online.

The Town Green at Russell Crossroads, diagonally across from Catherine’s Market.

ELIGIBILITY
Open to all Artists/Designers (vendors). Vendors will be reviewed and chosen by the Art Show Jury Committee. The Jury reserves the right to review and select each artwork, product, or design that has been submitted. All work must be original.
WEATHER
The show will be held rain or shine.
WAITLIST
Once our vendor capacity is reached, applicants will be placed on a waitlist given the applicant passes the jury process.
TAXES
Artists are responsible for collecting and paying sales tax (6%).
REPRODUCTIONS
Reproductions of a participating artist’s original work are permitted but must not exceed 25% of the total products offered for sale by any artist during the show.
SECURITY
Russell Crossroads security is on-site every night from 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM. Russell Lands is not responsible for anything left on the Town Green.
ADVERTISING
Art on the Lake will be promoted utilizing digital, print, and social media advertising channels. We encourage each artist to promote the show on their own pages as well.

Application Requirements
ARTIST RULES
- Artists must be present for the entirety of the show. Failure to follow this rule makes the artist ineligible for future shows.
- Work should be “show ready”.
- All work should be your original, handcrafted design, material, and execution and must be presented by the approved artist.
- Work which is imported, mass produced, made from kits, or manufactured will not be accepted.
- Artists may only exhibit artwork/products in the category they applied for.
- Displays must be professional and aesthetically pleasing.
- Artists are responsible for tables, chairs, and all display pieces. All booths will be under large, event-style tents provided by the show.
- Artists who break down booths and leave prior to the end of the show will not be allowed to return to the following show, unless in case of emergency.
- Artists are responsible for collecting and paying sales tax (6%).
- Artists will be considered a “no-show” if a space is not occupied by 9:00 AM on Saturday, May 23.
- Early setup is 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM on Friday, May 22. Early setup is for display pieces only—no product.
- Vehicles must be removed from show area to the parking field by 8:30 AM to allow for customer parking.
- Setup and breakdown times will be strictly enforced.

ASSIGNMENT
Russell Lands is responsible for assignings booths and accommodating special requests for certain spots. After May 18, 2026, all booth assignments are firm and nonnegotiable. Artists are not allowed to swap booth locations.
Refund Policy
- Accepted artists agree to participate in the show. If an artist can not participate after submitting payment, refund policy is as follows:
- February 2nd - 28th: full refund.
- March 1st - April 8th: 50% refund.
- After April 8th: no refund.
