The 2026 Summer Art Market (SAM) will mark the 33rd year of producing a successful and highly regarded event. The 2026 event will be held Saturday & Sunday, August 22 and 23 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the streets surrounding ASLD. The event includes more than 100 booths, exhibiting and selling the artwork of many artists, and bringing in thousands of visitors. In addition to art, the event offers a variety of food, entertainment, art demos and KidART activities.
SAM is open only to artists active in the ASLD community. Active means participants must have a current membership and are able to demonstrate their participation as a student, board member, faculty, volunteer, etc. All artists showing and/or selling at the Summer Art Market must each submit an individual application, even if sharing a booth. Participating artists are required to have an ASLD membership that expires no earlier than August 31, 2026. Memberships can be purchased or renewed at
