Opportunity Summary
Let's celebrate the arrival of Fall and everything that goes with it at this outdoor Pop-Up at the Grand Rapids Downtown Market on Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 10 am to 6 pm! Taking place under the Market Shed and in the east side of the Market parking lot, guests will do some shopping for Fall decor and goods while enjoying cocktails and mocktails from the outside bar as well as entertainment.
Booth sizes vary. Vendors applying will be juried on a rolling basis. The Fall Celebration Pop-Up will be advertised and promoted in West Michigan through printed literature, email blasts, media alerts and paid and organic social media campaigns.
The Grand Rapids Downtown Market is a 138,000 square foot public market that is open seven days a week and features 21 indoor food merchants and restaurants offering multiple dine-in, carry-out, specialty grocery, and retail options. The Market's award-winning venue spaces host year-round free public events and private rentals including wedding ceremonies, receptions, corporate events, social get-togethers and the Grand Rapids Christkindl Markt.

The Fall Celebration Market will host 40+ vendors offering handmade items to get guests, their homes, classrooms and/or offices ready to welcome the new season during the coming week. We will be accepting vendors selling items including but not limited to the following:
Once you have submitted this application, a jury process will take place. You will be contacted should the jury require additional information.
Stalls are limited. Vendors will be accepted for no more than four (4) Downtown Market Vendor events in 2026. This will ensure a variety of products are offered for Downtown Market guests throughout the season. To maintain the integrity and uniqueness of the 2026 Christkindl Markt, vendors selected to participate will not be accepted as vendors in other 2026 Grand Rapids Downtown Market Public Markets/Events.
Vendor will be notified within two (2) weeks of applying. Additional Market Vendor events are listed below:

- Art and photography prints (fall-related)
- Candles, incense, wax beads, etc. -- VENDORS NO LONGER BEING ACCEPTED IN THIS CATAGORY
- Ceramics and pottery (fall-themed)
- DIY seasonal crafts
- Fall clothing and accessories
- Fall-themed blankets, tea towels, towels and pillows
- Fall-themed plushies
- Food mixes including breads, soups, dips, etc.
- Houseplants, terrariums, fall bouquets/centerpieces, wreaths, etc.
- Fall home decor including wreaths, garland, crocheted/fabric pumpkins/gourds, etc.
- Locally made food items such as jams, jellies, honey, cocktail mixers, roasted coffee, etc. (packaged to take items only; outside of what is currently offered in the Market Hall)
- Made in Michigan items
- Ornamental corn
- Outdoor decor including pumpkins (decorated/undecorated), gourds, corn stalk arrangements, hay bales, signage, etc.
- Planters
- Potpourri (fall scents)
- Pressed leaf and/or flower bookmarks and placemats
- Scarves and hats
- Seasonal fruit and vegetables
- Skincare and bath products (skincare for colder weather)
- Soaps (fall shapes and scents)
- Textiles and linens (fall colors, designs)
