Ravenswood ArtWalk 2026

The Ravenswood ArtWalk (RAW) Tour of Arts and Industry is a weekend-long celebration of our local creative community. Stretching from Lawrence south to Irving Park along Ravenswood Ave, RAW features: open studios and galleries, pop-up performances and activations, and an Outdoor Arts Market featuring 75+ local makers, live music and activities, food, and a Malt Row beer garden.

This application is for artists and food vendors looking to participate in the Outdoor Arts Market portion of RAW on Satuday September 12th and Sunday September 13th.

The Ravenswood ArtWalk (RAW): Tour of Arts and Industry is put on by the Greater Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce (GRCC), Special Service Area #31 (SSA #31), and the Ravenswood Community Council (RCC) and is supported by local sponsors and volunteers. Sponsorship information can be found on the RAW website. This application is for artists and food vendors looking to participate in the Outdoor Arts Market portion of RAW on Satuday September 12th and Sunday September 13th.

The following medium categories are accepted: Bath & Body, Ceramics/Sculpture, Fashion/Accessories, Fiber, Home & Living Decor, Jewelry/Metalwork, Painting/Drawing, Photography, and Printmaking. Food vendor applications are also being accepted through this RAW application on ZAPPlication. There will be no jury process or monetary awards in 2026.

Booth payments include:
- One 10' x 10' exhibition space
- Your company listing on the RAW website
- RAW PR/Marketing pushes to city-wide publications and news outlets
- $25 City permit fee

Festival offers no guarantees or warranties of any kind. Festival occurs rain or shine. No refunds will be provided based on Force Majeure circumstances. Force Majeure circumstances are: fire, flood, earthquake, severe weather, epidemic, act of God; failure or delays of essential services including transportation, water, heating, electric service, etc.; industrial or labor disputes, strikes, lockouts; or any lawful order, decree, ruling, regulation or act of any public authority or sovereign government, government sanctioned embargo, act of war or terrorism; civil disorder, insurrection, coup d’etat or revolution; delay or destruction caused by public carrier; or any other circumstance substantially beyond the Festival or its agents’ and partners’ control.

Accepted artists who withdraw from the show on or before August 28th, 2026 will be refunded booth fees minus a $100 administrative processing fee.  No refunds will be given for show withdrawls after 11:59PM Central Time on August 28th, 2026. Artists withdrawing from the show must submit their notice in writing via email to amy@ravenswoodchicago.org.

Artist Rules:
1) RAW is rain or shine both Saturday and Sunday from 11:00am to 6:00pm.
2) All artists receive one 10' wide by 10' deep space. Artists are required to bring their own tents, weights, chairs, tables, and all other items needed for their booths. All tents must be properly weighed down.
3) Portable bathrooms and hand-washing stations will be available on site for use.
4) All Artists keep all their sales income from the show and are responsible for collecting and paying State of Illinois sales tax.
5) There will be security on the premesis overnight. It is at the Vendor’s sole risk to leave any equipment or product belonging to the Vendor on the Festival grounds overnight and Festival cannot and will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to said products or equipment.

Food Vendor Rules:
1) Food vendors must be prepared to stay open rain or shine for the entirety of RAW from 11:00am to 6:00pm both Saturday and Sunday.
2) Food vendors should arrive for set up no later than 10:15am. Vehicles will not be permitted to be driving in the footprint after 10:45am, as the street closure will be in full affect as our guests begin to arrive.
3) Please bring your own garbage can, if you have one, as the on-site cans may not be easily accessible. RAW Staff will be able to show you where the dumpsters are.
4) Food vendors MUST provide the following:

1. A certificate of insurance listing the Greater Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce and the City of Chicago as additionally insured
2. City of Chicago Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection (DBACP) Business Account Number
3. City of Chicago-issued 180-Day Special Event License or completed Temporary Food Vendor License Application
4. Summer Sanitation Certificate with your number clearly noted
5. Proof of current health inspection within 60 days before the event

Artists
GRCC Member Artists: $250
Non-Member Artists: $350
*All artists receive one 10' wide by 10' deep space. Artists are required to bring their own tents, weights, chairs, tables, and all other items needed for their booths.
*Booth location requests may be submitted but are not guaranteed.

Food Vendors
GRCC Members: $300
Non-Members: $400
*Food vendors that don't have a food truck are required to bring their own tents, weights, chairs, tables, and all other items needed for service. Electricity access will not be available.
